YG Announces Additional Cities For G-Dragons Solo World Tour

BIGBANGs G-Dragon is set to visit more cities than originally planned for his world tour!

On June 17, YG Entertainment announced that G-Dragon would be adding more cities to the Asia leg of his ACT III, M.O.T.T.E solo tour.

The new venues are Hong Kong, Manila, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Taiwan. This means that G-Dragon will be visiting a total of 24 stops in his new world tour, taking him to nine cities in Asia [excluding Japan], eight cities in North America, four cities in Oceania, and three cities in Japan.

MONSTA Xkicked off their world tour with their first shows in Seoul.

They held their 'Beautiful in Seoul' on the 17th and 18th at the Olympic Hall, kicking off with "Beautiful", "Incomparable", and "Hero". They also performed "Need U", "All I Do", "Ex-Girl", "White Girl", "Stuck", "All In", "Fighter", "Trespass", "No Exit", "Rush", "OI", "Be Quiet", and more.

The boys also had unit stages where Wonhoand Hyungwonperformed "From 0", Shownu, I.M, and Minhyukcovered "24k Magic", and Jooheonand Kihyuncovered "Mirror". They also performed "Shine Forever" for the first time.

More than 45,000 people attend 'SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI in SEOUL'

On July 8, more than 45,000 people attended 'SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI in SEOUL' at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

This was the first time 'SMTOWN LIVE' took place in Korea since 2014 - with the large attendance, the domestic fans were definitely waiting for this. On this day, SM Entertainment's artists participated in the concert such as EXO, Red Velvet, TVXQ's Yunho, f(X)'s Luna, NCT, Henry, SHINee, Girls' Generation, Super Junior, TRAX, BoA, Kangta, and much more.

'SMTOWN LIVE' started back in 2008 targeting major cities such as Seoul, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, and others. As the first ever Korean act to hit Europe scene and Paris show being sold out only in 15 minutes back in 2011, this was also one for the history books. The show consisted of a variety of performances that showcased all different music genres: EDM, dance, pop, ballad, and more in which totaled to 52 different performances.
