[MV & Album Review] IU - 'Palette'

2. Palette (feat. G-Dragon)

4. Can't Love You Anymore (feat. Oh Hyuk)

After her turn in the hit drama 'Scarlet Heart Ryeo,' IU has dropped her new LP 'Palette!' Her fourth full-length album features 10 tracks in all, with lyrics written by IU herself. She also gets some help from Kim Eana ("Red Shoes") on "Dear Name" and Sam Kim on "Ending Scene." Oh Hyuk and G-Dragon lend their voices to a couple tracks as well. The pre-release tracks "Jam Jam" and "Through the Night" round out the tracklist.

JONGHYUN – THE COLLECTION: 'STORY OP.2'

Jonghyun unleashes his second compilation album, 'The Collection: Story Op.2.' This album contains 10 tracks, including five from his time on the 'Blue Night' broadcasts, and another five that are brand new. The Blue Night ones have been remastered before theofficial release. The SHINee singer wrote, composed and arranged all these himself, with a little help from production teams such as MonoTree, SCORE, and others.

The title track is "Lonely," a quiet ballad, featuring Girls' Generation leader Taeyeon. They do a beautiful job of creating the emotion of isolation and heartache. They do it tenderly, one manufacturing the expectation that something else will happen, and then the other singer joins the mix. I think one of the best parts of the song is when they match each others' timbres and duet together -- no longer lonely.

[MV & Album Review] Triple H -- '199X / 365 Fresh'

5. 365 Fresh (Instrumental)

Triple H (the band, not the wrestler) has finally debuted with their very first mini-album '199X.' In case you've been hiding in a hole, the band consists of HyunA (of 4minute and solo fame), as well as Hui and E'Dawn from Pentagon. Each member contributed lyrics for the album, and they teamed up with Devine Channel for their title track.

The first song is "Sunflower," with HyunA teasing the intro, but it immediately gives the others a turn in this stomping, catchy hip-hop fusion. It's bright and happy and gives plenty of attitude. What's unusual about this one is its extremely short running time. It's way too long for an intro track, but at 2:29 there's not enough of it for my tastes. I like it a lot.

[MV & Album Review] Junhyung -- 'Wonder If'

Junhyung (of Highlight fame) has released a brand new solo single, 'Wonder If.' The album was composed by him (naturally) and contains two tracks. The title track features singer/songwriter/rapper Heize.

On the melancholic "Too Much Love Kills Me," Junhyung sings about an evil woman who was bad and broke his heart. The imagery is stark and depressing, as he drinks to try and forget her, and wishes her ill. The Highlight leader brings his trademark edgy voice to the mix, laid over a slow RB beat. It's not all that much of a departure from Highlight or BEAST, but it still sounds pretty good. It's far from the most uplifting song, but it definitely sets the mood.

[MV & Album Review] Psy - '4X2=8'

3. Last Scene (Feat. Lee Sung Kyung)

10. Auto Reverse (Feat. TABLO)

'4X2=8.' It's far from a math lesson, but you do get a lesson in great music fromPsy's 8th full album. He's got 5x2 songs on here for a total of 10, featuring collaborations with Lee Sung Kyung, Big Bang's Taeyang and G-Dragon, B.I and Bobby from iKON, and Tablo from Epik High.

"I LUV IT" starts with all the bombast we've come to expect from this guy. The horns quickly make way for a repetitive synth riff that runs through the main verses. Psy is on top of his game here, as energized as the music will let him be. The hook "I LUV IT" is present quite a bit here. The chorus has a hint of those crazy horns. The whole thing is a fantastic time. You could probably guess that 'I luv it.'
