The June 19 broadcast of JTBC's 'Abnormal Summit' featured A Pink members Chorong and Na-Eun where the girls discussed their encounters with fans abroad.

When they were asked if the group, "experienced any distressful incidents while meeting with international fans", Chorong answered, "When it comes to international fans, we don't get to see them as often and they somehow manage to find out our room number. They end up calling us on the phone in the middle of the night and constantly knock on our doors."

On June 15, member Hayoung wrote on A Pink's official fansite, "Due to the troubling incident which occurred last night, our fandom, family, agency staff, and our affiliates have been deeply concerned about us.  When we first heard about it, we were both in shock and scared, however after finding out the reason why it happened and to what degree, we were rather upset."

What is your state of mind now that you are about to perform for the first time in Japan?

As Black Pink has never performed in front of their fans, Jennie said, "This is the first opportunity for us to meet our fans in Japan like this. We haven't done this even in Korea, so being able to do this at this big venue, I'm nervous already for the rehearsal."

The members of Black Pink went through 4 -6 years of training under YG Entertainment. On the July 26 airing of 'Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon', Jennie, who trained for 6 years, revealed, "I wondered if we could really make our debut. Our debut got delayed a lot. The preparation process got extended. I wondered, 'Would we really be debuting? Would we ever be coming out?'"
