In a recent episode of Mnets Produce 101, groups had to perform a song a dance as part of the A-F rank level test. The group from Brand New Music, which consisted of trainees Kim Donghyeon, Park Woojin, Lee Daehwi, and Lim Yeongmin, performed what they claimed to be a completely original composition accompanied by original choreography.

Before the airing of Mnets second season of Produce 101, the trainees participating in the show were asked to perform the shows new song Pick Me as the opening performance of a professional baseball game on March 31.

Fan-taken videos of the trainees performing were soon uploaded, including one of NUEST member Minhyun. The video attracted the attention of netizens because Minhyun was not dancing in sync with the other trainees. This resulted in accusations that he was dancing off beat and people started to question his skills as a participant of the show.

Taiwanese duo Under Lover recently released their new song flight however fans have noticed that the melody of the song is similar to BEASTs Ribbon.

Cube Entertainment is the partial copyright holder of the song because it was released under BEAST, prior to the formation of Highlight.

They confirmed that they will be looking into the issue to determine whether there was any plagiarism or not and that they will work with Around Us Entertainment on the case.

This former idol group member was arrested for facilitating the smuggling of drugs into Korea.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency had been investigating a large drug smuggling ring where suspects were hiding drugs in international mail or travel packets and having them sent to Korea, specifically Gangnam. UnderdogSteelo was one of 19 suspects out of a total of 101 who were arrested on April 26.

Steelo reportedly confirmed the allegations, saying that he was asked to participate in the drug smuggling and willing agreed to do so.
