Nine Muses's Hyemi has renewed her contract with Star Empire!

Her contract will be expiring this July, but prior to its expiration, Hyemi has decided to renew and remain with her group, as well as her label.

Star Empire stated, "Hyemi has worked hard in a variety of fields as a reliable member of Nine Muses for the past 7 years, after her debut in 2010. We will not withhold any and all support from Hyemi as her assistant, so that she will continue to show off her skills to her fullest. We ask for your continued love and attention toward Hyemi's promotions as Nine Muses and her solo work. Thank you."

9MUSES will be promoting as a four-member group for an indeterminate amount of time, beginning with this comeback.

Star Empire made the announcement shortly after revealing a teaser and comeback schedule for 9MUSES on June 1 at midnight KST. The agency clarified that Sungah would be focusing on her individual activities and studies for the time being, and that the group would continue on as four.

Actor Kim Rae Won renews contract with current label

Actor Kim Rae Won has decided to renew his contract with his current label.

He had signed with HB Entertainment in 2013, and then renewed his contract in 2015. There were talks that he would be leaving the label and come into the FA market, but he's renewed his contract once again with HB Entertainment.

Because of the success of his recent works such as drama 'Doctors' and movie 'Prison', many labels had been seeking to sign him in. However, he decided to work again with the label he's worked with for the past four years.

ZE:As Kim Dong Jun Leaves Star Empire To Join New Management Agency

Kim Dong Jun has become the fourth member from ZE:A to leave Star Empire to sign with a new agency.

According to a source on June 21, Kim Dong Jun has decided to move to the agency that his former manager founded, Gold Moon Entertainment. Kim Dong Juns exclusive contract with Star Empire came to an end in January of this year but he did not make a final decision about his contract until the completion of his KBS 1TV drama Still Loving You, which was on air from November of 2016 until May 2017.

ZE:A's Dongjun has parted ways with Star Empire.

Dongjun's contract with his former label came to an end back in January of this year, but due to his schedules with his KBS drama 'Shine Eun Soo', he remained with Star Empire until filming came to a wraps. After a lengthy discussion, the singer/actor ultimately decided to part ways with the label. 

Instead, Dongjun will now begin anew under Gold Moon, a label set up by ZE:A's former manager Hwang Jung Moon. The label told news outlets, "We have signed an exclusive contract with Dongjun, and will do our best with him from now on."
