NU'EST's JR and F.T. Island's Hongki confirmed as permanent members of new JTBC variety show

NU'EST's JR and F.T. Island's Hongki will not be guests, but permanent members of a new JTBC variety show.

Originally, JR had been rumored to be a guest for the new variety show that Lee Soo Geun, Jung Hyung Don, and Park Sung Kwang would be leading. However, it's now been confirmed that JR and Hongki will be permanent members of the show 'Night Goblin'.

The variety show will air every Sunday at 6:30 PM KST on JTBC starting on July 30th. The goal of the variety show is to be the first one at a highly popular place such as a restaurant or a mall, meaning the members might have to stay up all night. The first episode on July 30th will feature the three members Lee Soo Geun, Jung Hyung Don, Park Sung Kwang, and guest Seventeen's Seungkwan. After that, starting from the 2nd episode, JR and Hongki will be joining as permanent members.

FTISLANDs Lee Hong Ki, NUESTs JR, Jung Hyung Don, Lee Soo Geun, and Park Sung Gwang are coming together for JTBCs new variety program Night Goblin (literal title)!

Night Goblin is a new program by PD Lee Ji Seon, the producer behind I Live Alone and The Capable Ones. The program will surround the cast members as they struggle to be the first ones to put their hands on a mission item. The mission item can be a prize, food, or even a place. To come out as No. 1 the next morning, they will take any measures to stay up all night or sleep out in the open.

JTBC is launching a new variety show called Idol Field Trip (working title).

On September 15, a source from JTBC stated, iKON, Jung Hyung Don, Jo Se Ho, and Sayuri will be appearing in Idol Field Trip.'

The show will focus on traveling, and it will be airing sometime in November. No other details have been revealed yet.

Mnet released their official statement on reports of a possible reality variety show with the final 11 members of Produce 101 Season 2 as well as those of a possible third season of the show.

On June 13, Mnet said, Nothing has been confirmed regarding reports of anything to do with Produce 101 Season 2 that were made today. While we are currently in talks of the members appearing on tvNs SNL Korea 9, it is not confirmed. Also, the third season and the reality variety show is something that will be discussed later, as we are currently getting ready for the final live broadcast. It isnt something that we can decide on right away as of yet.

Super Junior's Leeteuk, AOA's Jimin, Jung Hyung Don confirmed for new variety show 'Sherlock's Room'

MBC's new time traveling/crime-mystery pilot 'Sherlock's Room' has been scheduled to air on July 3.

According to MBC, 'Sherlock's Room' is "a mystery program a lot more thrilling than the usual crime storytelling and more real and dramatic than CSI, allowing for a scientifically-based, suspense-filled show."

Comedian Jung Hyung Don and Jo Woo Jong will be appearing on the show.  In addition to Super Junior's Leeteuk, AOA's Jimin, rapper DinDin and more will take on the new series as well.
