Hero was released on May 17 and has taken No. 2 on Oricons weekly single chart. On Tower Records and Billboard Japans weekly charts from May 15 to May 21, the single rose to No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.

After announcing the final 11 members of the group, it has been reported that Wanna One are expecting to debut with their first album as a team sometime in early August. 

After finishing their 'Produce 101 Season 2' finale concert on July 1 and 2, they will be going straight into work mode to make their official debut in August.
