"Man Who Dies to Live" has two new rookies in its cast.

Lee Tae-yeon and Jo Yeong-hoon are starring in the new MBC drama "Man Who Dies to Live".

Lee Tae-yeon takes on the role of Kang Hye-rim, Sin Seong-rok's (Kim Ho-rim) sister and adds fun to the drama.

Jo Yeong-hoon is a banker where Sin Seong-rok words at. He is Sang-deok who joined the bank at the same time as Kang Ho-rim and bickers with him all the time. He has starred in director Ko Dong-seon's drama before just like Lee Tae-yeon.

[Hot Takes from the Noonas] Sin Seong-rok, Choi Min-soo, and Kang Ye-won to star in "Man Who Dies to Live"

MBC rounds out the cast of family comedy drama, "Man Who Dies to Live", as it confirms Sin Seong-rok, Choi Min-soo, and Kang Ye-won as the leads.

If you're excited about that cast, then brace yourself for the plot: Choi Min-soo will play Jang Dal-goo, a man who leaves Korea in the 1970s and becomes a count in a fictional Middle Eastern country named Bodantia. He comes home to reconcile with his daughter and son-in-law, played respectively by Kang Ye-won and Sin Seong-rok.

if I had to pick someone to play an eccentric count dad, Choi Min-soo would probably have been my second choice. Strangely enough, my first choice might have been Sin Seong-rok; he's played villain often enough to prove he can pull off gravitas (see "Liar Game" and "My Love from the Star"), and he's equally good at playing absurd (see "Trot Romance"). Here's hoping he's not wasted in a role that's described as handsome but boring.

Sayd Faad Ali (Choi Min-soo) and Lee Ji-yeong B (Lee So-yeon) met for the first time.

Inside a club, Lee Ji-yeong A (Kang Ye-won) and the charismatic count didn't recognize each other.

Drunk Ji-yeong A got into the count's car by mistake and thought he was kidnapping her. She beat up his assistant Abdallah Muhamed Wallawalla (Jo Tae-gwan) and ran away.

Ji-yeong B wanted to meet her 'father' the count and Kang Ho-rim (Sin Seong-rok) worried that their stories wouldn't match. She asked him for the count's phone number.

On the latest episode of the MBC drama "Man Who Dies to Live", Lee Ji-yeong B (Lee So-yeon) knew she wasn't the count's (Choi Min-soo) daughter but pretended to be.

She knew she wasn't his daughter when she saw the picture he had. However, he was filthy rich and she wanted to use him. She pretended to be married to Kang Ho-rim (Sin Seong-rok). Kang Ho-rim also had to do this to keep the money the count gave him for his business.

Choi Min-soo however, started to be suspicious of Lee Ji-yeong B and looked for the orphanage where she supposedly was. Lee Ji-yeong B and Kang Ho-rim stopped him with lies.
