With VIXX becoming one of K-Pop's more popular groups, it is no surprise to find rookie groups being influenced by them. However, things got out of hand when one newly debuted K-Pop boy group was caught copying their concept completely.

A boy group by the name of B.I.T was accused and found guilty of copying VIXX's first full album concept back in 2013 for 'Jekyll' for their debut album 'Why.' Both of the album covers bare shockingly similar images as it showcases the members shirtless, highlighting their broad chests and shoulders on a grayscale background centered on the album cover.

Chinese Show 'Birth of A Star' Criticized For Copying Produce 101's Concept & More

Yet again, China is involved in another act of plagiarism when it comes to Korean media. The Chinese audition program 'Birth of a Star' is under fire for blatantly plagiarizing the popular competition series 'Produce 101.'

Chinese video siteIQIYIfirst broadcasted the show in November of 2016 up until January of 2017. The show description was about, "65 contestants participating in a competition to become the final 8 of a group set to debut afterwards."

Rookie group The Boyz to launch their first reality show!

Rookie group The Boyz will be filming their debut reality program! 

They will be collaborating with MBC Every1 and MBC Music for 'Flower Boy Snack Shop', which will consist of episodes centering around the process of opening a snack shop with the twelve members. Filming will start on July 22. 

Cre.ker Entertainment has been introducing The Boyz through profile teasers, with members from hit shows such as  'Produce 101', 'School Rapper', and 'K-Pop Star'. The premiere date for 'Flower Boy Snack Shop' has not been announced, so check back for future updates!

Usually copying is a form of flattery, but in this case, it is just down right plagiarism. Netizens are in a complete uproar over this Chinese broadcasting program for taking this hit Korean TV programs concept as their own.

'Show Me The Money,' a popular Hip Hop and Rap survival and elimination program, has been gaining mass attention since its release back in 2012. The show is notorious for having wild stage sets and rap battles, showcasing some rough and tough rappers as well as featuring some familiar faces, such as Jay Park and San E, exclusively as judges. The show is already in its sixth season.
