On June 7, a source from JYP Entertainment revealed, We submitted a complaint regarding the hydrochloric acid terror threat made against our agency group TWICE yesterday at Gangnam Police Station.

The source continued, The members were stricken with fear due to the terror threat about inflicting injury upon them with 10 liters of hydrochloric acid at the airport upon their return to Korea posted on the far-right online community site Ilgan Best [also known as Ilbe]. Actor Ji Chang-wook to Begin Mandatory Military Service

Actor Ji Chang-wook will enlist in the Army next month to fulfill his mandatory military service.

The star's agency said on Wednesday that Ji will enter boot camp in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province on Aug. 14 to undergo weeks of basic combat training and begin his 21-month military duty.

"Ji is in his 10th year as an actor, and since his debut in 2008, he worked diligently on TV, in movies and on the musical stage to broaden his scope", the agency added. "He will try his best to finish his service honorably".

Sexual Assault Case Originally Alleged To Have Involved Popular Idol Group Member Is Dismissed By Police

Police have dismissed a recent sexual assault case in which an unnamed popular idol group member (hereafter referred to as A) was originally accused.

On July 23, Gangnam Police Station disclosed that the case was forwarded to the public prosecutors office as a dismissed case due to lack of evidence.

A woman had reported to the police on July 6 that two men, including popular idol group member A, had assaulted her at a home in Yeoksam.

T.O.P Kicked out of Police Service

T.O.P of K-pop boy band Big Bang cannot continue his military duty as an auxiliary police officer after a drug conviction.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on Monday said a disciplinary committee concluded that the rapper is unfit to continue his duty as a policeman. It will ask the Army to reassign him to another post.

T.O.P., whose real name is Choi Seung-hyeon, started his mandatory military service in February and was relieved of the post on June 9, when he was indicted for smoking marijuana.
