'Unpretty Rapstar 2' winner Truedy will be entering 'Show Me the Money 6' as a contestant

According to an entertainment affiliate on May 1, 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' winner Truedy has agreed to participate on Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 6'.  Without giving anyone a heads up, Truedy applied for the 'Show Me the Money 6' over the weekend. 

Making herself known through 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' in 2015, Truedy received much attention for her soul-filled voice and talented rapping skills.  She went on to become the winner on the show.

Furthermore, many are wondering if she'll be able to challenge the male contestants on 'Show Me the Money 6.'

Show Me The Money 6 Sees Return Of Contestants Double K, Junoflo, Microdot, And More For Auditions

Auditions for Show Me the Money 6 are under way. The first auditions were held on April 29 and 30 at the Samsan World Gymnasium in Incheon.

This season is making history, with a record number of over 12,000 rappers auditioning for the show, including first generation Korean hip hop musicians as well as up-and-coming rappers in the scene.

Previously, it was revealed that P-Type, Digili, MC Hansai, Nucksal, Kebee, Penomeco, and Yang Hong Won (Young B) were auditioning, and during the on-site applications held this weekend, it was revealed that Double K and Truedy applied, as well. Double K is the winner of the first season of Show Me the Money, while Truedy is the winner of the second season of Unpretty Rapstar.

On May 5, a source reported that American artist and producer Swizz Beatz will participate as a special judge at the New York auditions of Show Me the Money 6.

This is not the first time the show has featured a guest judge from the United States. Last year, Show Me the Money 5 featured U.S. producer Timbaland as a special judge during the U.S. auditions in Los Angeles, California. Snoop Dogg also participated as a special guest judge in Korea during Show Me the Money 4.

The remaining contestants of Produce 101 Season 2 will be holding their own concert!

On May 27, CJ EM announced their plans to hold a Season 2 Finale concert at the Olympic Hall in Seoul on July 1 and 2.

The concert will be held in commemoration for the end of Mnets Produce 101 Season 2. Those attending the concert will get a chance to see various stages that were performed during the show, as well as a performance of the shows theme song Pick Me.

According to a source from the program, producer teams Tiger JK and Bizzy, Dynamic Duo, Jay Park and Dok2, and Block Bs Zico and Dean will be participating in this event on June 5. They are also working on casting other artists to feature in their performances.
