On June 22, a representative from Mnet stated, Proceeds earned from the theme song Its Me (Pick Me) will be divided equally among all 101 trainees. Were also planning on dividing up the profits from the concert depending on how many times each trainee performs.

Produce 101 Season 2 released a total of nine songs, not counting the piano instrumental of Its Me (Pick Me), so the profits from these tracks will reportedly be divided among the trainees as well.

Produce 101 season 2 has resumed filming with all 98 contestants.

According to broadcast sources on April 17, Mnets Produce 101 season 2 gathered all of the trainees on April 15 and recorded an episode. This marks their second meet-up after their official broadcast together on April 7.

The trainees reportedly had a time to review episodes one and two and talk with one another. Plus, the staff supposedly organized a segment to pick the best looking trainee out of the 98 contestants. In the first season, the girl trainees also did a similar task where they voted to pick who would get the center stage.

The rank A trainees of 'Produce 101' season 2 will be going on 'M Countdown' again.

Back in March, the trainees auditioning for the competition program held their very first stage on 'M Countdown' with ''Pick Me''. According to an Mnet associate, only the 16 trainees in rankA will be given the chance to go on a special stage again and perform ''Pick Me''.

The top 16's special stage on 'M Countdown' will be airing on the 27th.

Rank F trainees unable to go on 'M Countdown' stage shed tears on 'Produce 101' season 2

On April 21, 'Produce 101' season 2 trainees' rehearsal for 'M Countdown' was aired. 

The trainees entered the studio in an orderly fashion by their ranks. Rank A dressed in light pink entered first, followed by B, C, D, and F.  The trainees' position on the stage also depended on their ranks. Rank A took the center while rank F were placed on the floor; off the stage.

Lee Min Ki (Ren), who's a member of NU'EST, were unable to control his emotions and shed tears during rehearsal. Several other rank F trainees also showed tears as they were not able to step on stage at all.

The third episode of 'Produce 101' season 2 aired on April 21. 

As always, the voting by 'nation's producers' took place throughout the broadcast. This week, Park Ji Hoon from Maroo Entertainment garnered the most votes once again and placed 1st. This makes him #1 for three consecutive weeks.

Brand New Music's Lee Dae Hwi and Brave Entertainment's Samuel Kim swapped places. Lee Dae Hwi moved up one ranking while Samuel Kim moved down one. The two still remain in the top 3.
