'Produce 101's K-Tigers trainee Byun Hyun Min has placed #1 on the preliminaries for choosing national athletes.

He participated in the 52nd Presidential National Taekwondo Competition that doubled as the 2018 National Athlete Selection Preliminaries and placed first. He'll keep competing to see if he qualifies for the national team, meaning fans may actually get to see him at the Olympics representing Korea for taekwondo.
