Singer and actor Rain has already been confirmed to serve as a mentor as well.

The Unit aims to showcase the talent and potential of idols who have already debuted. It will be holding its first open recording at the Kintex Hall 9 in Ilsan on September 29, 30, and October 1, and the first episode of the show will be airing on October 28.

CNBLUE's Yonghwa to make his solo comeback with a new album

CNBLUE's Yonghwa will be returning to his solo activities by releasing his second studio album next month.  It will mark a year and 6 months since the release of his 1st studio album 'One Fine Day' in January 2015.

On June 19, FNC Entertainment stated, "CNBLUE's Yonghwa is preparing for his new solo album aiming for a July release. He is currently hard at work raising the bar on his latest album."

Yonghwa will also demonstrate his songwriting abilities and will be collaborating with international composers for this album, heightening the anticipation.  It is said that his solo album will feature distinct sounds compared to the music from his band.
