The finale of “Show Me the Money 6,” a showdown between rappers Woo Won Jae, Nucksal, and Hangzoo, was held on Friday, September 1.

In the end, rapper Hangzoo from producer team Zico and Dean took the win, just barely edging out Nucksal by 50,000 won.

It was an emotional win for Hangzoo, who couldnt hold back his tears upon hearing the announcement. His fellow Rhythm Power members Boi.B and GeeGooIn were also in the crowd to support, wearing matching tops that said, “Rhythm Power album coming soon.” Hangzoo said, “I never understood before why people cried on these shows… It was so difficult, but what gave me the strength to keep going is everyone here. I came on the show to help Rhythm Power. I want to thank my mom and Jin Pyo.”

It has been confirmed that Show Me the Money 6 will be airing its first episode on June 30 at 11 p.m. KST, taking over the time slot that Produce 101 Season 2 currently occupies.

Mnet has also unveiled a poster of the shows four producing teams Tiger JK and Bizzy, Dynamic Duo, Jay Park and Dok2, and Block Bs Zico and Dean.

Show Me The Money rapper Jung Sang Soo has been booked for assault and interference with police.

Around 2 a.m. KST on July 5, Jung Sang Soo got in a physical brawl at a drinking establishment and police were called to the scene. He then proceeded to fight and assault the police, as well.

His agency South Town Production commented, Jung Sang Soo has returned home. He will take time to self-reflect for awhile.

'Show Me The Money' rapper Jung Sang Soo gets in a physical fight with a man requesting a photo

Rapper Jung Sang Soo (24) from 'Show Me The Money' has been booked for physical assault. 

Around 2 a.m. at a drinking establishment in Seoul, Jung Sang Soo got into a brawl with people sitting at a different table. It's revealed a man named Park started the fight after Jung Sang Soo rejected a photo request. Jung Sang Soo claims Park also verbally assaulted him with degrading comments.

Police rushed to the scene and Jung Sang Soo was taken to the police station, where he has been booked.

The first round of auditions for 'Show Me The Money 6' continued airing on the July 7 episode. 

Previously, rapper Sleepy, who debuted in the group Untouchable in 2008, surprised many by announcing that he's auditioning for the rapper competition program. 

On this week's broadcast, Sleepy opened up about his decision, and said, "Some people know me as a comedian, some as a soldier. I used to be called the monsters of music charts when I debuted in Untouchable. I just started going on variety shows because it was fun but I could no longer fit in the hip-hop scene as time flew."
