Following the news, netizens criticized Brand New Music and commented, "Brand New Music is already done preparing to debut a group and all the members are ready to go. I'm not voting for them", "So they're just using 'Produce 101' to increase their popularity before debut lol That's so shady. It means they had it all planned out before they went on 'Produce 101'."
