On June 22, a trial hearing was held at Seoul's Supreme Court for composer Mr. Kim, who previously composed Roy Kim's "BomBom Bom".

The Department of Justice stated in light of the plagiarism incident, "The plaintiff's appeal has been dismissed, he will also be responsible for covering all charges."

In response to this, Roy Kim's agency told XportsNews, "We are happy that the truth was unveiled by the law and would like to thank all the fans for looking out despite the long, strenuous case. We will continue to present good music to the masses."

The lawsuit began in 2013 when a songwriter named Kim Hyung Yong claimed that Roy Kims Spring Spring Spring had plagiarized his own CCM track, Becoming a Landscape of God (literal title). Roy Kim won the first trial in 2015, with the verdict being that the differences of the two songs outweighed their similarities. However, Kim Hyung Yong filed an appeal that year September, and the verdict on the appeal came out today, on June 22, 2017 KST.
