Hong Hyun Hee has issued an official apology for their recent blackface controversy.

After backlash and outcry for doing blackface in a skit as a part of the KBS program People Looking for a Laugh, Hong Hyun Hee has issued an official apology.

In the skit, the comedian had portrayed the horrific African stereotype minstrel character by wearing brown paint, braided hair and she even going as far as drawing on oversized lips.

Since the controversy occurred, Hong Hyun Hee has released an apology statement on Instagram for the incentive portrayal.

'I Live Alone' to edit out T.O.P's photo appearance on the show for his marijuana controversy?

Last week, MBC 'I Live Alone' released a preview for the episode scheduled to air on June 2. The clip captured actor Yoon Hyun Min visiting a hair salon and showing a photo of Big Bang's T.O.P to the hairstylist. The actor expressed his wishes to get his hair bleached like the idol star.

However, the segment might be edited out due to T.O.P's recent marijuana controversy. 

On June 1, a representative of MBC 'I Live Alone' stated, "We are currently looking into whether we should edit out T.O.P's image in regards to the recent controversy. A decision will be made based on broadcasting regulations."
