MBC apologizes for the Ilbe image used during BTS news segment

MBC officially apologized for the recent ilbe controversy. 

The short segment 'Entertainment Today' of 'News Today' came under fire for using an ilbe image of former President Roh Moo Hyun during their news report about BTS.

In response to the issue, MBC shared an apology via their official home page. The apology stated,

"We apologize to the viewers for the use of former President Roh Moo Hyun's silhouette in 'Entertainment Today'.

Jessica's Korean name, Jung Soo Yeon, was listed under deceased while Krystal's Korean name, Jung Soo Jung, was written beside it under guests. The message for the deceased also read, "Unnie I miss you... I love you..."
