Though the remake and MV were meaningful in many ways, there was apparently some backlash as the MV did not feature the BTS members themselves, as many had anticipated. Seo Taiji released an official apology earlier today on July 8, addressing the disappointment that some fans expressed.

Recently, Seo Taiji and BTS collaborated for a remake of the famous 1995 song "Come Back Home" in which a music video was also released. However, some fans showed their discontent with the video.

Seo Taiji and his representatives released an official statement on July 8, "First of all, thank you to everyone for the support of BTS' recent remake of "Come Back Home. Since the release of the music video, there has been much criticism regarding the video. We apologize for not meeting the expectations."

Billboard has now released its charts for the week ending in July 22, and BTSs remake of the Seo Taiji and Boys classic Come Back Home has come in at No. 2 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
