SHINee’s Taemin has grabbed the top spot on Oricon’s daily album chart with his new Japanese mini album!

Taemin’s second Japanese solo mini album “Flame of Love” was released on July 18 (his birthday!). It includes the haunting title track “Flame of Love,” as well as four other songs.

The mini album has taken the No. 1 spot on Oricons daily albums chart for July 17 with estimated total sales of 45,003.

Taemin will be releasing his 2nd solo mini album in Japan!

The exciting news was recently shared on Taemin's official Japanese website. The SHINee member will be releasing his 2nd mini album 'Flame of Love', which includes the tracks ''Flame of Love'', ''I'm Crying'', ''Do It Baby'', and ''Door''.

It's also revealed that famous photographer Mika Ninagawa was in charge of creating Taemin's beautiful album photos.

After the release of his 2nd Japanese mini album 'Flame of Love' on July 18, Taemin immediately ranked #1 on Oricon's daily chart. The mini album contains title song "Flame of Love" as well as "I'm Crying", "Do It Baby", "Door", and "Itsuka Kokode".

BLACKPINK made their official debut in Japan on August 30 with the physical release of their eponymous Japanese mini album, which includes Japanese versions of their hits including “BOOMBAYAH,” “Whistle,” “Playing with Fire,” “Stay,” and “As If It’s Your Last.”
