Before he inherited leadership of North Korea in 2011, Kim Jong Un was rarely seen in public. What is known about the 33-year-old supreme leader shows him as a very different person than how hes seen today.

Kim Jong Un went to Liebefeld-Steinhölzli Schule, a school in Switzerland where he was enrolled under a false name with a completely fabricated background. To the school and his classmates he wasnt the heir to the DPRK. Instead, he was known as Pak Chol, the son of a North Korean embassy employee who worked in Bern, Switzerland.

The election is especially significant as it will determine the next president to follow after Park Geun Hyes impeachment. With the 2017 South Korean presidential election underway, idols have taken to social media to encourage others to vote.

Presidential candidates have already used music from idols to help spread their message while they were campaigning, but now idols themselves have engaged with the elections themselves, as they encouraged Koreans to get out there and vote. To show their own involvement in the process, dozens of South Korean celebrities posed for photos of themselves voting, in hopes that it would remind, or inspire, others to do the same.
