Show Champion Cancels Live Broadcast This Week, Airing Special Episode Instead

MBCs Show Champion will not be airing a live broadcast this week.

On May 9, MBC announced the news through its official homepage. Instead of airing live on May 10, a special broadcast will be aired, featuring all the artists that had made comebacks in March and April.

The lineup for this special upcoming episode consists of BTS, Highlight, CNBLUE, TWICE, Girls Day, GOT7, EXID, Jung Eun Ji, Gong Minzy, GFRIEND, BTOB, B.A.P, MONSTA X, DAY6, PRISTIN, and gugudan.

On the April 26 episode of MBCs Show Champion, EXID took their second win for their latest comeback, Night Rather Than Day. The girl group beat out fellow first-place nominees IUs Palette (feat. G-Dragon), WINNERs Really Really, Jung Eun Jis The Spring, and Zicos Shes a Baby for the final crown.

In their winning speech, EXID thanked their agency staff and each other for working hard despite tough times and LE gave a special shoutout to Solji, who is currently taking a hiatus from entertainment activities as EXID promotes as a four-member group.

'Tunnel' Takes Advantage Of Golden Weekend To Improve Show's Quality, Will Resume Airing After Week-long Break

OCN's time travel thriller "Tunnel" will be taking a week-long break from airing to make way for the filming of the second half of the show. Production has confirmed that the network wants to make sure that the remaining episodes will have the best quality for its loyal viewers.

According to a report by All Kpop, "Tunnel" will take a break from airing on May 6th and 7th and will be replaced by Hollywood movies for their timeslot. On the 6th, OCN showed Dwayne Johnson's disaster movie "San Andreas" while on the 7th, they showed Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron's action packed "Mad Max: Fury Road."
