His label Prima Music Groupstated, "[Jang Yong Joon's debut album] is an album into which he poured his passion into, despite all of the controversies he dealt with."

Previously during his appearance on 'School Rapper', Jang Yong Joon became wrapped up in rumors about school violence, alleged attempts at soliciting prostitution, derogatory SNS posts, and more. It was also revealed that he was the son of politician Jang Jae Won, and that the politician and his son did not have a good relationship.
