During their chat, the interviewer asks Soyou if the rumors are true that she’s made a benefit of 1.3 billion won (approximately $1.1 million) from digital sales of her tracks, assumedly particularly from her large hit duet “Some.” She right away says, “No way,” and then turns to the camera and issues to say, “No!”
Her fellow participants then tease her by way of saying, “Is it in realityno longer true?”
“That would mean Ive made more than Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, that’s ridiculous!” she says. She then jokes that folks think shes made a massive number of money, so they are repeatedly asking her to shop for them food or drinks. “Now I don’t have the rest left!” she says.
Soyou’s duet track “Some” with Junggigo (featuring Lil Boi) used to be released in February of 2014, and became so popular that it sat at number 1 on several music charts for over a month and earned the artists ten music display wins.
Meanwhile, SISTAR these days made a comeback with their song I Like That off their new mini album Insane Love.
