Slow Wine (The SB Mixtape, 5/31/2017)

One day as I was going about my business, merrily doing work and being in general an innocent child of the Lord, I was listening to my music, as Im wont to do. I have my iTunes on random, because who doesnt like when a song theyve not heard for some time suddenly seeps through their earphones? On this particular day, I was slapped in the face by Deans I Love It. This was around the time when 130 Mood: TRBL first came out, so the song was still relatively fresh to me. Out of nowhere, and I mean nowhere, my innocent, pure mind instantly whispers, This is a stripper song. And from that moment on I couldnt get the thought out of my head!

The SB Mixtape: 4/19/2017, Units of Measure

It was Aristotle who said The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Obviously, Aristotle didnt know anything about K-pop, but maybe he was on to something. The beauty of K-pop is it ability to adapt genres for all audiences. Differing concepts can be found to fit any preference. Whether you like the bad boys or fairy girls, you can find a group to suit your needs. And even if the group as a whole isnt your style, you can find a member whos personality speaks to you.

Thats where this mixtape comes in. Most groups tend to stick to a certain image, but luckily, they break off into sub- and special units to give fans a taste of a different sound. In some cases, the units not only bolster the original groups popularity, but become forces to reckon with in their own right. The parts, in this case, make the whole that much better, being able to bring in a whole new subset of fans. Without further ado, I present this mixtape, in honor of all the subunits and special units that elevate their groups to the next level.

Suran Thanks BTSs Suga And Changmo For Helping Her With Her First Chart-Topping Track Wine

Thank you for this opportunity to let my voice be known to the general public.

This is what RB vocalist Suran had to say about her recently released single Wine. The track topped various music charts, such as Bugs, Genie, and Olleh Music. Considering the fact that IUs new album has been on top for the past couple of weeks, this is quite an impressive feat for a rookie singer.

Wine is a trendy hip-hop, RB track infused with electro pop and a futuristic base. The lyrics reflect a person seeing the memories of their past relationship in a glass of wine. The groovy rhythm and emotional melody work well together, and the song was quite anticipated as it was reported that the song would be produced by BTSs Suga and would feature rapper Changmo.
