The third episode of 'Produce 101' season 2 aired on April 21. 

As always, the voting by 'nation's producers' took place throughout the broadcast. This week, Park Ji Hoon from Maroo Entertainment garnered the most votes once again and placed 1st. This makes him #1 for three consecutive weeks.

Brand New Music's Lee Dae Hwi and Brave Entertainment's Samuel Kim swapped places. Lee Dae Hwi moved up one ranking while Samuel Kim moved down one. The two still remain in the top 3.

As always, the voting by 'nation's producers' took place throughout the broadcast and this week, major changes have taken place in the rankings.

Maroo Entertainment's Park Ji Hoon, who has ranked #1 for four consecutive weeks, has been bumped down two spots and ranked #3. Meanwhile, Pledis Entertainment's Kim Jong Hyun, also a member of NU'EST, hiked up 7 spots and took #1.

Top Ranking Contestants Of Produce 101 Season 2 To Perform On Next Weeks M!Countdown

The A rank class contestants from Produce 101 Season 2 will be appearing on next weeks episode of M!Countdown.

Previously on the survival program, it was mentioned that one of the privileges of the A rank class would be to perform on M!Countdown. Now, the date has been set for April 27.

Currently in the A rank class are Brave Entertainments Samuel Kim, Brand New Musics Lee Dae Hwi, Fantagios Ong Sung Woo, and more. New rankings for the following week will be revealed after further evaluation on the shows April 21 broadcast.

The latest episode of Mnets Produce 101 Season 2, which aired April 28 KST, saw the continuation of group battles covering popular songs from K-pop boy groups.

Last week, contestants performed 2PMs 10 Out of 10 and EXOs hit song Call Me Baby. This week, viewers saw performances of Super Juniors Sorry Sorry, BTSs Boy in Luv, SHINees Replay, SEVENTEENs Mansae, Infinites Be Mine, and BEASTs Shock.

While many expected the Avengers (Group 1 performing Boy in Luv) team to win the overall group battle on-site scoring, the Group 1 that performed SEVENTEENs Mansae (Park Woo Dam, Joo Won Tak, Kim Yeon Guk, Woo Jin Young, Kim Tae Dong) took first place, despite an unexpected member loss, and Park Woo Dam, the main vocal of the group, ranked first for the contestants. He commented, I thought people would only like good-looking trainees, but thank you.

[SPOILER] Which trainees survived the first round of eliminations on 'Produce 101' season 2?

The first round of eliminations took place on this week's episode of 'Produce 101'.

Only the top 60 trainees are given the opportunity to continue on the competition. Trainees from the 61st place and below are eliminated.

The final rankings of the first round are as follows:

Seo Sung Hyuk was the trainee with the most drastic jump in rankings. He ranked 95th place for 3 consecutive weeks, however, he survived the first cut by placing 51st. He burst into tears after finding out the results and commented, "I promised my family that I'll have dinner with them tonight because I thought I'll be eliminated."
