[SPOILER] Which trainees took #1 on the position evaluation of 'Produce 101' season 2?

The position evaluation took place on this week's 'Produce 101' season 2.

Last week, the trainees formed groups based on their positions of rap, vocal, and dance and started practicing for the position evaluation. 

Groups performing Black Pink's ''Playing With Fire'', Florida's ''Right Round'', Jung Seung Hwan's ''If It Is You'', Zico's ''Boys and Girls'', Ed Sheeran's ''Shape of You'', and Song Min Ho's ''Fear'' held their performances. 

The remaining groups performed this week. The songs available for the vocals were BTS' ''Spring Day'', BoA's ''Amazing Kiss'', and IOI's ''Downpour''. The songs available for the dance groups were N Sync's ''Pop'' and Jason Derulo's ''Get Ugly''. For the rap groups, ''Who You'' by Simon Dominic, One, G2, and BewhY, and ''Rhythm Ta'' by iKON were available.

The third episode of 'Produce 101' season 2 aired on April 21. 

As always, the voting by 'nation's producers' took place throughout the broadcast. This week, Park Ji Hoon from Maroo Entertainment garnered the most votes once again and placed 1st. This makes him #1 for three consecutive weeks.

Brand New Music's Lee Dae Hwi and Brave Entertainment's Samuel Kim swapped places. Lee Dae Hwi moved up one ranking while Samuel Kim moved down one. The two still remain in the top 3.

[SPOILER] Which trainees survived the first round of eliminations on 'Produce 101' season 2?

The first round of eliminations took place on this week's episode of 'Produce 101'.

Only the top 60 trainees are given the opportunity to continue on the competition. Trainees from the 61st place and below are eliminated.

The final rankings of the first round are as follows:

Seo Sung Hyuk was the trainee with the most drastic jump in rankings. He ranked 95th place for 3 consecutive weeks, however, he survived the first cut by placing 51st. He burst into tears after finding out the results and commented, "I promised my family that I'll have dinner with them tonight because I thought I'll be eliminated."

As always, the voting by 'nation's producers' took place throughout the broadcast and this week, major changes have taken place in the rankings.

Maroo Entertainment's Park Ji Hoon, who has ranked #1 for four consecutive weeks, has been bumped down two spots and ranked #3. Meanwhile, Pledis Entertainment's Kim Jong Hyun, also a member of NU'EST, hiked up 7 spots and took #1.

With their first elimination behind them, the trainees of Mnets Produce 101 Season 2 kicked it up another notch this week with their position-based challenge.

Just like last season, trainees, according to their ranks, had to choose the song they wish to perform in one of three categories, vocal, dance, and rap. The benefits of coming out on top include an extra 10,000 points added to their score. In addition, the top contender in each of these categories, would receive another 100,000 points.
