During this week's episode of 'Mask King', the individual behind the 'Parrot' mask shocked the panel and the audience of the show.

For the first round, 'Parrot' and 'Flamingo' sang a duet together to perform Bon Jovi's "Always" which caught the panel off guard as the song is considered as one of many legendary songs sang by the artist. The two sang with each other very well as if they have been practicing together for weeks.

After the performance, the identity of 'Parrot' was revealed to be none other than BTOB's Hyunsik. Many did not expect the singer behind the mask to be the idol and could not help but be surprised. Hyunsik and his fellow members from BTOB are known to have extremely strong voices in which transcends to their performances on a consistent basis.

During this week's episode of 'Mask King', two strong singers faced off in the first round: 'Bandabi' versus 'Soohorang'.

The two mystery singers collaborated to sing Kim Nam Joo and Sungjae's song "Photograph". The audience and the panel quickly took a strong like to the singers in front of them as they mesmerized everyone with their light and pure voice tones.

The battle between the two individuals ended in favor of 'Bandabi'. After finding out the result, the identity of 'Soohorang' was revealed. It was none other than UP10TION's main vocalist Hwanhee. In midst of netizens being thoroughly impressed by his strong vocal, they couldn't help but wonder who 'Bandabi' could be. Many have started to speculate that the figure who has advanced to the second round as 'Bandabi' is Red Velvet's Joy. On this week's episode of 'Mask King', the identity of 'Bandabi' from last week was revealed which shocked the panel of judges.

On this day, 'Bandabi' covered her senior group S.E.S's hit song "Just In Love". As soon as she started singing, the whole crowd and the panel were very impressed by her singing abilities but also her pure and clear voice color/tone. Her special voice complemented to the song itself very well and sounded as if it was her own song. During this time, many were still confused as to who was behind the mask and even suggested that it probably wasn't an idol because the singer did not dance much.

On this week's episode of 'Mask King', a former member of IOI appeared on the show and wowed everyone with her performances.

The member came out with a masking 'Blue Shrimp' to collaborate with 'Blowfish Lady' for the first round. Together, they sang Lyn's "Back In Time". The two harmonized well and showed off their pure vocals that grasped the hearts of the audience immediately. Unfortunately, 'Blue Shrimp' was not able to get past the 'Blowfish Lady' to move onto the next round and her identity was revealed.

H.O.T member Lee Jae Won to make an appearance on 'Mask King'

With the help of his friend and fellow member Tony An, H.O.T's Lee Jae Won will be making a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of MBC's 'Mask King.'

According to a broadcasting affiliate on May 2, Lee Jae Won participated in the recording at MBC studio, along with Tony An.

This will mark Lee Jae Won's first appearance on a variety program in a very long time. He was a member of trio JTL in 2001 which included Tony An and Jang Woo Hyuk. After that, he changed his career to a solo singer and has since left the entertainment industry for a very long time.
