Super Junior have been chosen as ambassadors for giving blood!

The group was chosen as the ambassadors of 'Red Cross Korea' back in 2007, and have been re-appointed as ambassadors once again this year. It's their 10th year as ambassadors, making them the organization's longest ever running ambassadors!

Leeteuk said, "As it's a special act related to saving lives, we hope many people understand the importance of giving blood and join in. We will also show through example by giving blood."

On June 14, which is also the World Blood Donor Day, Super Junior was again made ambassadors of blood donation for the 10th year in the running.

The Korean Red Cross has run multiple campaigns to increase the publics awareness and interest in blood donation over the years. Since 2007, Super Junior has participated in many of these events, including photo shoots for posters, radio commercial recordings, and street campaigns.

On May 22, SM Entertainment announced the launch of Super Juniors new Instagram account, which already features both group and solo shots of the guys.

Their first uploaded post was a group photo from their recent meetup (which included even members Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Choi Siwon, who were all on leave from the army) with the message in the hashtags Super Junior full group, wait just a bit more.

In their first post, the group shared a photo of 9 of their members posing with their signature greeting pose (except Heechul, tricking fans by doing his popular 'Nico nico ni'), writing, "~ing since 2005.11.6. We are Super Junior!!"

Meanwhile, Super Junior's Shindong will be partnering up with UV for an 'SM Station' season 2 release, set for release some time in mid-June.
