Super Junior's Siwon and actress Kang So Ra have been offered the starring roles in tvN's upcoming drama 'Byun Hyuk's Love' (working title).

On July 31, SM Entertainment stated, "Siwon was offered to play the leading male role in 'Byun Hyuk's Love'.  It is one of the many projects he is currently looking into after he is discharged from the army.  Nothing has been confirmed yet at this time."

Kang So Ra's agency, Plum Entertainment, also commented, "'Byun Hyuk's Love' is one of the projects currently in discussion.  Her appearance has yet to be confirmed.  She is currently in talks with the production staff."

Super Juniors Choi Siwon And Kang Sora Confirmed As Leads For Upcoming tvN Drama

On August 19, tvN confirmed that Super Juniors Choi Siwon and actress Kang Sora would be starring in the upcoming drama Revolutionary Love (working title).

The drama will be Choi Siwons first project after his discharge from the military just a few days ago. The drama will be directed by PD Song Hyun Wook, who has previously worked on hit dramas like Marriage, Not Dating and Another Oh Hae Young.

Choi Siwon will be taking on the role of Byun Hyuk, an unemployed third-generation chaebol who has no real goals in life other than to live each day as comfortably as possible. A true believer in the power of love, Byun Hyuk does not doubt others intentions and is inadvisably innocent. He hides his status as a chaebol as he begins living in a regular studio apartment.

The report claimed that Siwon and Kang So Ra have been cast as the leads of a new tvN weekend drama, titled 'Byun Hyuk's Love'. tvN has since stepped forward to confirm the report to be true!

Siwon will be playing the role of Byun Hyuk, the second son of a rich family who owns Kang Soo Corporation. He is a romanticist who breaks out in poems spontaneously.Kang So Ra will be in the role of Baek Joon, a woman who lives day to day surviving off part time jobs.

Super Juniors Kyuhyun will continue to record for Radio Star until his army enlistment on May 25. He has been with the talk show for over five years, joining the cast in October 2011.

Originally, last week was supposed to be the last day for Kyuhyun to film Radio Star. The producers agreed that the next filming date, May 24, would be too much of a burden for Kyuhyun because it is the day before his enlistment. However, because they will film for an important episode celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Radio Star on May 24, Kyuhyun graciously agreed to join the recording one last time.
