BIGBANGs Taeyang is reigning over Billboards World Albums chart with his new solo album.

On August 22, Billboard revealed their weekly charts for the week ending in September 2.

Taeyangs newly released solo album White Night, featuring the title tracks Darling and Wake Me Up, has taken the No. 1 spot on the World Albums chart. It also comes in at No. 5 on the Heatseekers Chart and No. 12 on the Independent Albums chart.

Taeyang's 'White Night' tops Billboard's 'World Album Chart'!

Big Bang's Taeyang shined brightly at first place on Billboard's 'World Album Chart' with his latest album, 'White Night'! 

The Big Bang member topped the list for the week of September 2, while cruising at number three was EXO's 'The War' (Unfortunately, they seem to have the wrong image of EXO). Girls' Generation also demonstrated their feminine power with 'Holiday Night' at number 5.

Wanna One are in 6th place with their debut album '1x1=1 (To Be One)', while G-Dragon is still in charge at 11th place with 'Kwon Ji Yong', BTS follow behind in 12th with 'You Never Walk Alone'.

G-Dragon tops Billboard's 'World Album' chart

G-Dragon recently ranked number one on Billboard's 'World Albums' chart in addition to appearing on the on the 'Billboard 200 Chart', with his latest EP 'Kwon Ji Yong.' Which isn't surprising as the top star also topped Japan's Orion Weekly Digital chart in addition to getting an all-kill on various music charts across the board.

K-pop continues to make its presence known as other artists are on the chart with BTS at #12 with 'You Never Walk Alone', DAY6 at, you guessed it, number six with 'Sunrise'. 'Produce 101' was also mentioned in ninth place, Seventeen taking charge of 11th place and even Suran's latest EP 'Walkin' popped up on the 'World Albums' chart coming in at 14th place for the week of June 24.

Various K-pop artists made it on Billboard's 'World Albums' chart for the week of August 26.

Girls' Generation was seated atop the throne in first place with 'Holiday Night: The 6th Album'. Wanna One popped in at third place with '1x1= 1 (To Be One) (EP)' following their hot debut.

Group EXO continues to demonstrate their idol power going strong at number 4 with 'The War: The 4th Album'.  Singer Jessica also made it in the top 5 with 'My Decade' (EP) celebrating her 10th-anniversary.

In addition to entering Billboards Hot 100 for the first time and coming in at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, BTS has also ranked high on other Billboard charts this week!

On September 26, Billboard released its full charts for the week ending in October 7.

BTS comes in at No. 1 on the World Albums chart this week with their new mini album Love Yourself: Her. Meanwhile, their album WINGS is back on the chart at No. 11, and their repackaged album You Never Walk Alone returns to the chart at No. 13. Both of these previous releases by BTS have now been on the charts for 23 weeks overall each.
