Tao's lawsuit regarding reexamination of contract against SM Entertainment dismissed

The Seoul Central District Court has dismissed former EXO member Tao's lawsuit which asked to reexamine the exclusive contract between him and SM Entertainment.

The following is SM Entertainment's official statement:

"Hello, this is SM Entertainment.

On April 28, 2017, the Seoul Central District Court concluded the dismissal of TAO's claim to reexamine the efficiency of his exclusive contract. As a result, his entire lawsuit has been made void.

Male idol group The Legend has won the lawsuit against their former agency SS Entertainment and have successfully terminated their contracts.

The Legend was a 5-member male idol group who debuted under SS Entertainment in 2014, but due to their agencys negligence and incompetence, the group had to disband in May 2017.

According to the members recounts, SS Entertainment never provided the group with adequate transportation to and from their schedules, nor did they provide them with a manager.

Producing director Lee Tae Heon started out by saying he didnt feel any rivalry with the show Infinite Challenge, which has been airing in the same time slot as Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend. He revealed he was actually a longtime fan of Infinite Challenge so he was rather honored that his show was airing at the exact same time.

Crayon Pop's contract with their label has ended, but the girls will most likely be staying together.

Their contract with Chrome Entertainment ended at the end of March. ChoA and Way are currently talking to a label with expertise in musicals. ChoA has always wanted to be a musical actress and even majored in musicals. Gummi and Ellin are also looking for labels of their own, while Soyul will for the time being focus on her family with Moon Hee Jun.

Crayon Pop is facing a crisis as a group, as most members contracts have expired.

A source from their agency Chrome Entertainment revealed on April 19, Our contracts with Ellin, Soyul, Geummi, and Choa expired in March, but Weis contract is still valid until May. We are focusing on discussions with Ellin, Soyul, and Geummi about whether they will renew their contracts or disband.

They added that Soyul was resting after her marriage with Moon Hee Jun and that she has not been feeling well lately. Also addressing rumors that Choa and Wei were signing with a musical company and that Geummi and Ellin were preparing for new promotions, they stated that they had not heard of any of this.
