Rapper Digiri Writes Apology For Controversy Surrounding Show Me The Money 6 Judgement

After Tiger JK apologized for the controversial ruling that had many viewers questioning the fairness of the show, rapper Digiri posted his own apology.

On July 8, he posted a handwritten letter on his personal social media account. However, his account is currently set to private so the photos of the letter are being circulated by hip hop fans on various communities online.

The apology is apparently for both the controversial ruling as well as his decision to appear on public broadcast after coming under fire for evasion of mandatory military service earlier in his career.

YG Entertainment has recruited 2 more PDs, in order to implement their plans to take on more tv productions in the future.

It's been revealed on April 21 that two PDs from Mnet's 'Show Me The Money', Lee Sang Yoon PD and Choi Hyo Jin PD, have decided to leave Mnet, finding a new home under YG Entertainment instead. The label also signed Park Jun Soo PD of Mnet's 'God of Music' last January.

On April 21, a source stated that Choi Hyo Jin PD (producing director) from Show Me The Money 5 recently signed on with YG Entertainment.

It has also been reported that after Choi Hyo Jin PD signed with YG Entertainment, other Mnet PDs followed in her footsteps. A contract is said to be imminent with Han Dong Chul PD, who managed YG Entertainments survival variety shows such as WIN and Mix Match.

The upcoming season of Mnets Show Me the Money is drawing more participants than ever before.

For Show Me the Money 5, approximately 9,000 people auditioned to have a chance to compete on the show. Show Me the Money 6, has over 12,000 people interested in auditioning for the show—the largest applicant pool the show has ever had.

As a result of the huge number of applicants, the first round of auditions in Korea are planned to take place over the course of two days. First round auditions are scheduled to take place on April 29-30 at Samsan World Gymnasium in Incheon.
