tvN Confirms Criminal Minds PDs Statement On Parting Ways With Show

Producing director (PD) Lee Jung Hyo will be leaving tvNs Wednesday-Thursday drama Criminal Minds.

On July 28, a source from tvN stated, PD Lee Jung Hyo will be parting ways with Criminal Minds due to having differences in opinion with the production team from Taewon Entertainment.

The PD wrote on his personal Facebook account on July 27, saying, After receiving a request from the Studio Dragon production team in June, I participated in co-directing Criminal Minds. However, a week before the broadcast, there was a conflict with the production team from Taewon Entertainment, and so I will be officially leaving the show.

"We Got Married" recently held a farewell party along with the cast of the show's fourth season but it still became a happy occasion with the news that the show will be returning for a fifth season. It is uncertain, however, how long the show will be on hiatus.

The farewell party happened during the final taping day at the MBC studio and was attended by Park Mi Sun, Hwang Jae Sung, Yang Se Chan, Park Na Rae and Oh My Girl's Hyojung. In her Instagram post, Park Mi Sun said that she will miss everyone and was sad that they were about to end another season.
