TWICEs first Japanese album has been certified platinum!

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) announced on August 10 that the girl groups Japanese debut best album #TWICE has sold over 250,000 copies, earning it platinum certification.

TWICE has accomplished several impressive achievements since their Japanese debut on June 28, topping the iTunes Albums Chart in Japan and taking the first five spots simultaneously on Line Musics chart with songs from the album. Recently, the album rose back up to first on the Oricon Daily Album Chart over a month after its release.

TWICEs Japanese debut album #TWICE is experiencing another burst of popularity!

According to information released on August 7, TWICE placed first on the Oricon Daily Album Chart on August 6, despite the fact the album was released on June 28.

While the group has consistently placed in the top 20 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart over the past couple of weeks, their album suddenly jumped to third place on August 5 before its continuing its ascent to first.

EXO-CBXs first Japanese release is out and its already receiving lots of love!

Their mini album GIRLS was officially released on May 24, and sold a noteworthy 26,541 physical copies in just the first day alone, and placed them second on Oricons daily album chart. It continued to be second place on on the daily album chart for May 25, with 22,248 copies sold.

In addition to title track Ka-CHING!, the album includes a Japanese version of their Korean debut title Hey Mama, and five entirely new songs that showcase EXO-CBXs own color. The Japanese media reported, A slight contrast to EXOs unique sound, [EXO-CBXs] diversified pop sound is well-loved.

BTOB's Changsub will be debuting solo in Japan, following the release of his solo debut single "At The End" in Korea this past April! 

His Japanese debut album will be called 'bpm 82.5', and the album will be released in 4 different versions. You can check out Changsub's romantic album cover images below - a special edition album featuring an illustration, and types A, B,C featuring Changsub posing against a soft, pink background with yellow lights surrounding his frame. 

'bpm 82.5' will contain 4 songs - the Japanese version of "At The End", "Believe in Me", "Happiness", and "This Flower, for You".

The girls will be compiling a best-of album of all of their Korean hits, re-sung in Japanese! Some of their beloved hits include 'Like OOH-AHH', 'Cheer Up', 'TT', 'Knock Knock', and 'Signal', and both the Korean and Japanese versions of the songs mentioned will be on their official Japanese debut album, called '#TWICE'.

For months, TWICE have been garnering attention for their much anticipated Japan debut. Various media platforms and TV shows in Japan such as TV Asahi's 'SmaSTATION', TV Tokyo's'Japan Countdown', Fuji TV's'Mezamashi TV'and more became interested in TWICE and their popularity.
