Pledis Entertainment confirms NU'EST comeback for the second half of the year

NU'EST is coming back soon.

Pledis Entertainment confirmed, "A lot of fans are wanting NU'EST to promote after Kang Dong Ho, Kim Jong Hyun, and Choi Min Ki disappointingly missed the Wanna One cut off. We are preparing a comeback for the later half of the year as a 4-member group with Aron." Minhyun, as a member of Wanna One, is not allowed to have double promotions with another group.

They also added, "We know that even the media wants NU'EST to promote. It all happened over the weekend, so we're still dumbfounded. We will be calling the members in today and start talking about their comeback."

One exclusive report stated that CEO Han Sung Soo of Pledis Entertainment will participate in producing the final members of 'Idol School', who will be selected on the final episode on September 29. The girls' management label has yet to be decided, said the same report.

Pledis Entertainments CEO Han Sung Soo has been confirmed to be the producer of the nine-member group that will debut from Mnets Idol School.

The episode of Idol School that will air on September 29 will be the final competition leading up to choosing who will make the debut team. The remaining 18 students have been divided into three groups that will perform three new tracks Pinocchio, Youre in My Fantasies, (literal title) and MAGICAL. The votes that are tallied from todays broadcast will be added to last weeks live broadcast votes and evaluations to choose the top 9 trainees.

Mnets girl group school project Idol School is taking shape!

Mnet said on June 16, Idol School will air its first episode on July 13. The time slot is yet to be determined. The show was going initially going to air in the place of I Can See Your Voice 4, but now they are looking at a variety of different possible time slots.

Meanwhile, Idol School will be Koreas first girl group education institution. Students will undergo 11 weeks of training and after graduation, the top students will debut as a girl group right away in the second half of 2017.
