Mnet has announced some sad news for Unpretty Rapstar fans.

On June 19, they stated, Unpretty Rapstar 4 will not be airing this year. Were currently discussing whether it should air next year.

Unpretty Rapstar is a survival program for female rappers. The show first began in 2015 and aired three seasons for the past two years.

'Unpretty Rapstar 2' winner Truedy will be entering 'Show Me the Money 6' as a contestant

According to an entertainment affiliate on May 1, 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' winner Truedy has agreed to participate on Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 6'.  Without giving anyone a heads up, Truedy applied for the 'Show Me the Money 6' over the weekend. 

Making herself known through 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' in 2015, Truedy received much attention for her soul-filled voice and talented rapping skills.  She went on to become the winner on the show.

Furthermore, many are wondering if she'll be able to challenge the male contestants on 'Show Me the Money 6.'

Produce 101 Season 2 will finally be coming to an end in just a few days on June 16, and the remaining 20 contestants have been split into two groups of 10 for their final challenge.

The two songs that will be featured in the final broadcast are Super Hot and Hands on Me, and as if the anticipation wasnt high enough already, Mnet recently unveiled short versions of the two songs through its official accounts. Ryan Jhun and The Underdogs are reportedly the producers behind these two songs.

The April 27 episode of M!Countdown featured some special performances from groups like Produce 101 Season 2s A Group and Hyukoh in their first music show performance since their debut.

WINNERs Really Really and IUs Palette were both up for first place this week despite both artists being absent from the show. IU took the final crown with a score of 7626 vs. WINNERs 7507 and got her first win for Palette, the title track off her album of the same name. She has previously won music show trophies with her pre-release track Through the Night.
