The episode opened with a special performance of Pick Me, beginning with the Top 20 and then the previously eliminated trainees joining them for one last time. The eliminated trainees then joined the audience to see who would make it to the final 11.

A month ago, Mnet introduced us to its Produce 101 Season 2 lineup through their full-member performance of their theme song, Pick Me, on M!Countdown.

On April 26, Mnet released a behind-the-scenes look at that performance. The video began with the boys at a training center as they practiced their lines and worked on their choreography with dance teacher Kwon Jae Seung.

As trainees, many of the boys had never stood on a big stage like M!Countdown before and they joked around about their nervousness and their inexperience with finding the camera. They also continued to put in the work, practicing their choreography until the very last minute.

In the most recent episode of Mnets Produce 101 Season 2, which aired on May 5, trainees went through a big scare, bringing laughter to the audience.

In the episode, trainees were asked to sit in front of a mirror and talk to their reflection. Some trainee would compliment themselves, some who encourage, some would vent, but all faced a ghost that would suddenly show up in the mirror and grab at their feet.

Mnet has shared videos of the contestants of Produce 101 Season 2 not only performing their concept challenge songs at twice the speed, but also reacting to their performances!

In the June 2 episode of the popular trainee survival show, the top 35 contestants were split into groups to perform original songs as part of a concept challenge. On June 12, Mnet released hilarious videos of each of the five teams attempting (with some having more success than others!) to put on their performance at double the speed.

The third episode of Mnets Produce 101 Season 2 was packed with excitement as the final results of the video evaluations were revealed and the highly anticipated group battle evaluations began in the third episode as well.

In the preview from the end of the second episode, viewers saw a trainee from the F rank group walk into the room of A rank trainees, which was an unexpected but perhaps welcome shakeup for viewers. In the end, six trainees from the B rank group (Han Jongyeon, Daniel Kang, Kim Sangbin, Kim Sungri, Im Youngmin, Lee Woojin), one trainee from the C rank group (Woo Jinyoung), one trainee from the D rank group (Ahn Hyunseob), and one trainee from the F rank group (Kim Taedong) made their way into the A rank group. Plus, although there were some who were less steady in their performance for the video evaluations, all of the original A rank trainees were able to maintain their spots in the group (Lee Daehwi, Park Woojin, Ha Sunghoon, No Taehoon, Kim Namhyung, Samuel Kim, Ong Sungwoong).
