Honbap is a combination of the Korean words for alone and meal and, as the word suggests, the trend involves the practice of eating alone. In Korean culture, it is seen as odd to eat alone and it is far more common to eat in groups or pairs. This new trend is, therefore, breaking with tradition and fits well with the fast-paced lifestyle of the young generation.

South Korea halts the deployment of THAAD

South Korea's new president Moon Jae In has suspended further deployment of THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) missile defense system. 

Currently, two launchers and a radar of the THAAD system is deployed and in operation in Southeastern, South Korea. The system typically requires a total of six launchers, however, the installment of remaining four launchers, which are currently in South Korea, has been halted.

TWICE will be spreading their love towards their Japanese fans! The "Nation's Girl Group" has recorded the Japanese version of "Like OHH-AHH" to be released this month.

Summer 2017 will be the mark of TWICE's debut in Japan. As reported by All Kpop, the girl group will be releasing a Japanese version of their debut song "Like OHH-AHH" within the month.

Similarly, all of TWICE's hit songs will be having a Japanese version for their Japanese fans. These include "Cheer Up", "Knock Knock", and "TT" just to name a few.
