ARMYshave been complaining about an article by reporter Jeon Wonwho claimed BTS' agency Big Hit Entertainmenthad been blackmailed for illegal marketingpractices and stated the group's 'Top Social Artist' win the '2017 Billboard Music Awards' was suspicious.

Xports News explained the article had been meant as an opinion piece by the reporter, and the media outlet further apologized for causing misunderstanding and degrading the effort of BTS as artists and their fans.

BTS has recently become the center of attention due to all the negative accusations surrounding them and their agency Big Hit Entertainment regarding blackmail and cheating at the 'BillBoard Music Awards.'

On September 5th, it was revealed that a reporter by the name of Jeon Won from Xports News had written an article claiming she had found proof as to how BTS rigged and cheated the voting system at the 'BillBoard Music Awards' by using "shortcut marketing," an illegal method of manipulating viral popularity and sales.

On August 7, UEE made her first public appearance since the breakup news with Kangnam at the press conference for new KBS2drama 'Manhole'.

At the event, the idol-turned-actress addressed the issue for the first time and stated, "I apologize for disappointing and causing concerns to many with my personal matters. I will work hard not to do so from now on. I've also deleted social media. I want to deliver an apology to all."
