Bang Si Hyuk shares plans for BTS' unit promotions + a brother group

Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Si Hyuk shared his plans for BTS and more in an interview with OSEN. 

The group has never promoted in units. Regarding this, Bang Si Hyuk commented, "The possibility of BTS' unit promotions is always open. The members' opinion and decision are also very important. But as of now, we've decided to just focus on the team."

Bang Si Hyuk also shared about debuting new groups under Big Hit Entertainment. He explained, "BTS' brother group has been discussed in the agency but nothing has been confirmed. We do have several trainees but it's unknown what will happen. One thing I can say for sure is that we don't have any girl trainees. I think I saw something about a BTS sister group on the web but we don't have any girl trainees."

Blackjacks waiting for former 2NE1 main vocalist Park Bom's solo album may have to wait a bit longer until she sorts out her issues with YG Entertainment. It seems that Park Bom is under the impression that she is signed under YG sub-label "The Black Label" but YG reps are disputing her claim.

It can be recalled that an Instagram post by Park Bom over the weekend caused many Blackjacks, the official fandom of 2NE1, to hope that the singer may be getting ready to do her solo album much like her former groupmates. Her post was captioned "I'm going back," while showing her on the seaside, Korea Portal reported.

It looks like T-ara will not be having the happy ending that fans had been hoping for.

The girls had pushed back their comeback from May to June, and with Soyeon and Boram's contracts ending on May 15th, negotiations to promote as a full group ultimately fell through. The pair will not be in T-ara's final album.

Qri, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon will be re-recording the songs on their album with just the four of them. With this, their comeback has been delayed even further. MBK Entertainment said, "We can't use the recording with Soyeon and Boram anymore. The four members have to re-record, so we have to delay our comeback date that had been set for June 1st. The comeback date for the four members is not decided yet."

SM Reportedly Has Big Male Group Comeback Plans For 2017

According to a report from NSP Communications, SM has big plans for the latter half of 2017.

The report states that EXO has changed their comeback schedule. Thus, SM plans on having EXO, TVXQ, Super Junior, and SHINee make comebacks during the latter half of this year.

Apparently, SM will not be having male group comebacks in the first half of 2017.
