A YG representative announced on August 13th, "SuPearls is set to make their debut in September, while the new girl group will debut a month later in October."

SuPearls, originally consisting of Park Jimin, Michelle Lee, Lee Jungmi, and Lee Seungjoo, were finalists of the SBS audition program, "K-Pop Star." Park Jimin ended up being the winner and eventually chose to sign with JYP Entertainment, so the runner-up, Lee Hayi will take her place in the group. CEO Yang Hyunsuk commented that the five-member group was just as talented as their current YG trainees, and the company has decided to debut them earlier than planned as a way of thanking their "K-pop Star" fans. YG is currently training SuPearls to possess great musicianship and stage presence, similar to the past YG vocal group, Big Mama.

Hip-hop group Epik High, consisting of Tablo, Mithra, and DJ Tukutz, will also be coming back with a new album this September, and 2NE1 will release a new single in October.

Maroo Entertainment"s first idol girl group, myB, released a teaser video and signaled their debut after two years of preparation.

In the teaser video for their debut track "My Oh My," the five myB members appear in silhouette against bright lights and show off their dancing skills. Contradicting images of femininity from their silhouettes and power from their choreography create mysterious charms.

"As myB is our company"s first idol group, we prepared so much for their debut," explained a statement from Maroo Entertainment. "With our knowledge in Hallyu (Korean Wave), we will do our best to make sure myB becomes a widely loved group in all areas of Asia."

The group has yet to annouce an official debut date.

FNC Entertainment recently revealed that preparations are underway for the creation of a new dance-pop group and that the debut will coincide with the label"s 10th anniversary.

One regarding the agency preparing and working with the group.

"We are in the middle of preparations to launch groups of various forms. Weve just started preparing [for this group]," arepresentative from FNC Entertainment told media on Tuesday, August 4, as reported by Soompi.

"The group name has not been decided and the lineup of members has not been confirmed. We are focusing on this group with the goal of debuting them during the first half of next year."

The upcoming male dance group follows shortly after the debut of the label"s rap-rock group N.Flying, who released their first single, "Awesome," in May.

It looks like "DIA" (pronounced "da-ee-ah" for diamond) has so far confirmed six members, including Jenny, Chaeyeon, Yebin, Eunice, Eunjin and Cathy, for the final lineup. There is, however, a possibility that another member may be added to make DIA a 7-member girl group instead.
