According to reports on June 20, the upcoming male trainee survival program YG Entertainment will be launching will take on a 'YG-Style Produce 101' format.

A rep from the label said, "YG will launch a variety of programs beginning this fall. Han Dong Chul PD, who produced 'Show Me The Money' will work on a new survival program... it will be the first time YG will be joining hands with outside labels, and YG will be hand-picking members from participating, unknown rookie groups, to form a brand new group."

YG Entertainmentis launching another survival program with their trainees.

Previously, it was reported that Bang Ye Damis preparing for hisdebut in a new boy group with young members aging from 15 to 17. On June 19, YG Entertainment revealed that the debut members of the boy group will be selected through a new survival program, which is scheduled to launch in the latter half of the year.

On September 13, JYP Entertainment released further details about their upcoming male group survival program.

The agency previously revealed that a male group survival program will begin this October with a unique format. Rather than individuals surviving to become a team, the trainees will be working towards the goal of debuting all members together. They will be judged on individual abilities and teamwork based on unexpected missions to win the trainees vs. JYP survival.

Trainee Kim Tae Min reportedly returning to 'Produce 101' season 2 for the final episode

Han Areum Company trainee Kim Tae Min is reportedly making an appearance on the final episode of 'Produce 101' season 2. 

According to an exclusive report by MBN, Kim Tae Min is participating in the recording for the show on June 16. 

An insider stated, "His health condition has not fully recovered so it'll be difficult for him to dance 'Pick Me' but it seems like he decided to make attendance to cheer on fellow trainees on 'Produce 101' season 2."
