Sasaengs Completely Ruin EXO Baekhyuns Live Broadcast

A well-meaning online broadcast from EXO’s Baekhyun kept on being interrupted and it was discovered that sasaeng fans were to blame. 

On April 17th, fans were treated with a late call from Baekhyun through a livestreaming. During the broadcast, Baekhyun casually talked to fans about his latest single “Take You Home” and shared his thoughts on its music video. He even serenaded his avid viewers to a live version of the track.

Several times during the broadcast, however, fans noticed that his connection appeared to have been interrupted. This was address in the short question and answer segment of his talk. Baekhyun explained that it was due to the number of calls he was receiving and eventually revealed that it was his sasaeng fans trying to constantly call him.

Reports have just came in saying that "K-pop Star 6" has just got a very massive high rating, after it has wrapped up its final season last April 9. Throughout the many years that it has aired on TV, it has maintained the high ratings that it had every year. This is despite the fact that audition programs are slowly fading away.

According to Soompi, the talent show, "K-pop Star 6", has earned a whopping 30 billion won, which when converted to U.S. dollars, is $26.4 million. What makes the stats really impressive is that the earnings were only from the TV commercials that it had for its sixth and final season.

The last time IU appeared on a music program was back in 2013 with Red Shoes, which was included in her third studio album Modern Times. She did release more albums afterwards, but she did not appear on music shows for those promotions. So, it has been almost four years since she officially recorded a music show broadcast.
