Kim Chung Ha talks about her journey from JYPE trainee to IOI and solo debut

Kim Chung Ha talked about her journey from starting as a trainee at JYP Entertainmentto an IOImember and eventually debuting solo.

In an interview with 'GQ Korea', Kim Chung Ha shared, "I think I'm lucky. At 19, I was a JYP trainee and college student, and at 20, I met my current agency and 'Produce 101'." As to what she thought about her career after JYPE, she said, "Rather than thinking, 'I'm going to quit this industry,' I just accepted my situation. The team I was a part of was disbanded and the management changed, and I wasn't used to the change. Before I left, the members were seriously my last string of hope. I think I pulled at that string so much that I broke it. It took me a long time to realize it was broken."

Broadcasted on May 3, MBC's 'Radio Star' welcomed SISTAR member Soyu to the show where she talked about her part-time job experiences during her trainee days in Cube Entertainment.

The hosts stated, "You mentioned there were many rude customers while working at the hair salon?"  Soyu answered, "There were times when I would be shampooing the men's hair and he would just stare at me with his eyes wide open, making me feel embarrassed."  MC Kim Gu Ra then added, "That's why barber shops are comfortable."

She shared, I often thought to myself, I want to play with friends too. I want to run around outside and play on the playground together, I want to eat with friends.' Gong Minzy also opened up about how she had never gone on a school trip before, and how she had no memories from her school days because she had only ever practiced.

Jo Sung Wook, a trainee from Produce 101 Season 2 who left the show after the first round of eliminations, has become the first contestant from the show to sign an advertisement deal.

On May 22, Jo Sung Wooks agency, OUI Entertainment, released a statement saying, After his elimination from Produce 101 Season 2, one of our trainees, Jo Sung Wook, very fortunately received an offer for an advertisement deal, which will make him the first trainee from the show to do so.
