Seoul court issues arrest warrant for MBC president Kim Jang Kyeom

On September 1, West Seoul's Supreme Prosecutors' Office issued an arrest warrant for president Kim Jang Kyeom of MBC, upon request by the National Media Labor Union.

The president was summoned by the labor union three times to participate in questioning dealing with alleged unfair practices within MBC, but refused to attend all three times. While prosecution has revealed little information about the arrest warrant and case, the National Media Labor Union has announced that they will adjust plans to continue their strike against MBC management.

However, Iron was arrested by police, and on April 18, attended the first public trial for the case at Seoul Central District Court.

On September 20, Han Seo Hee appealed her original sentencing, but by the end of the trial, her original sentencing of 4 years of probation remained along with120 hours of drug counseling and a fine of 870,000 Won (~$767.72 USD). The prosecution asserted her sentencing was too light, and Han Seo Hee admitted her guilt and withdrew her appeal.
