CROSS GENE is a six-member group under Amuse Korea that made their debut in June of 2012 with their mini album Timeless: Begins. They have since released four mini albums in Korea, as well as been very active in Japan. CROSS GENE most recently made a comeback with their mini album MIRROR in February, featuring the title track Black or White.

A growing number of fans of boy group CROSS GENE have begun demanding better treatment for the group following the decision to cast member Takuya in a Japanese musical.

Takuyas involvement in the musical Watashi no Host-chan [My host] was announced by the musicals official Twitter account on September 4. The notice was met with a mixed response as some CandYs [official name of CROSS GENE fans] showed concern at the content of the musical, which, fans say, involves the cast playing characters who are hosts and a voting system where people can win experiences with the cast members including hugs and other forms of physical interaction.

Produce 101 contestant Jang Moon Bokwho is currently ranked among the shows top 11, is turning heads yet again for his latest stage performance.

For the first challenge of the hit music contest survival show, Produce 101, the contestants were placed into groups (chosen by contest leaders) and were to perform a hit song by popular a boy group of their choice. Jang Moon Bok was in a group that performed EXOs Call Me Baby and they surprised viewers with their fresh rendition of the popular song.

Cross Genedropped a surprise MV for their fans!

"Love Guide" is a track from the boys' last mini album 'Mirror', with lyrics written by member Sangmin. The MV itself is a super sweet one-take, where the boys make you fall in love with them all over again.

'Produce 101' fans protest the creation of a 'concert team' out of trainees #12-35

'Produce 101' season 2 fans are furious at the announcement of a 'concert team'.

The concert team will be made from boys whose final ranks are #12-#35. These 24 boys will only be at the concert for the next two years, and will act as backup dancers for the top 11 boys while not even being able to debut.

Fans are furious at the announcement, and a petition has been created, signed by over 7,500 fans in 17 hours. The final goal of the petition is 10,000 fans. The petition reads, "The trainees are not a way to make money, but people. They can't be used however the program sees fit just because they were on the show."
