Lee Sang Woo will be playing the role of a former idol star who experienced a high level of popularityin the late 1990's but is no longer the star he used to be. He spoke on playing the role of a first-generation idol, who has experienced both successes and failures.He said, "It's fun playing the character of an idol who was once very popular. Before we started filming, I hung around with current idol dongsaengs such as Kang Daniel, Xiumin, and Junhyung while filming 'Dangerous Beyond the Blankets'. Things I was able to observe back then are helping me a lot with my acting now."

Director Hong Sang-soo is making a new film with actress Kim Min-hee. It will be Hong's 22nd feature and the fifth starring Kim.

Shooting began in early September, film industry sources said Thursday.

Hong has worked with Kim since 2015 with "Right Now, Wrong Then", "On the Beach at Night Alone", "The Day After - 2017" and "Claire's Camera", which has not yet been released.

Their May-to-September romance went public last year, and they admitted to their extramarital relationship at a press event for "On the Beach at Night Alone" in March this year.
