On July 22, B1A4s Sandeul appeared on the first episode of Summer Spent Together with Friends special of KBS2s Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend.

Sandeul introduced his duet partner and sworn brother Ahn Se Ha, an actor who had become close friends with Sandeul after they appeared in a musical together three years ago.

Sandeul and Ahn Se Ha got on stage as the last performers to sing Im Jae Bums Flight. Prior to going on stage, Sandeul explained that the reason for choosing the song was so he could fly and enjoy the performance with Ahn Se Ha.

For the 'Autumn Man' special of the show, the singer covered Choi Yang Sook's 1970 track "Fall Letter". Before getting on stage, Parc Jae Jung commented, "I wanted to express the loneliness of fall, so I only planned to sing with a piano. I hope to compose the seeds of autumn together."

However, Parc Jae Jung lost to married couple Son Joon Ho and Kim So Hyun, and Min Woo Hyuk took the final trophy.

For part 1 of the Lee Mi Ja special, Parc Jae Jung covered the legendary singer's 1968 song "Twilight Blues", which has been remade by veteran singers like Patti Kim, Na Hoon Ah, and Moon Ja Ran. He said before his performance, "Because it's legend Lee Mi Ja's special, I tried really hard as I prepared. I'd like to win."

Kim Tae Woo is known for his ballads and slow jams, but he showed a different side on the 'Lyricist Special' of the show. Before his cover of Jang Eun Suk's "I'm Dancing", Kim Tae Woo expressed, "I've prepared a legitimate hip hop dance for today. Honestly, the choreography is so tough that I regretted it a little during rehearsals."
